Liquid release agent for architectural concrete. Guarantees easy demoulding and a high-quality surface finish on concrete elements made with grey or white cement, intended to remain exposed after formwork removal and to fulfil an architectural function in the project.
Mode of action:
After evaporation of the solvent, it forms a thin wax film on the surface of the formwork, allowing perfect spreading of fresh concrete and correct formwork/concrete separation at the time of demoulding.
Application:
Applied by spraying onto clean formwork, with an approximate coverage of 30 m²/litre.
A drying time of between 15 and 20 minutes is required before pouring the concrete (PIERI Cire C-32 and PIERI Cire C-52).
PIERI Cire C-42 can be covered with concrete after a much shorter waiting time.
Fields of use:
Indicated whenever a smooth, homogeneous, bubble-free surface finish is required.
Applicable to all types of formwork: metal, varnished or plastic-coated wood, polyester or polystyrene.
Available versions:
- PIERI Cire C-52: for especially difficult or complex concreting works.
- PIERI Cire C-42: for cases where very fast drying is required.
- PIERI Cire C-32: suitable for standard formwork in precast and exposed concrete applications.
