Colored shotcrete is an effective technique for slope stabilization and landscape integration in natural environments.
By spraying pigmented concrete onto rocky or eroded surfaces, the terrain’s structure is reinforced, preventing landslides and minimizing visual impact. The use of pigmented concrete allows the final color to blend seamlessly with the surroundings, providing a long-lasting technical solution that preserves the harmony of the landscape.
In this project, located at the Sant Quirze del Vallès railway station (Barcelona), the concrete was pigmented using SC Pigments® Pardo 4660 to achieve a dark earth tone, closely matching the original color of the mountain.
