Deaerating agent for concrete, used to reduce bubbles on exposed surfaces or fine finishes.
Provides shuttered concretes (on site or in precasting) with a reduction in air and the elimination of “craters” that subsequently require surface repair. The incorporation of PIERI® Antibubble L50 produces a reduction of entrapped air in the concrete of between 20% and 40%, depending on the formulations.
Application:
Suitable for all types of concrete based on grey or white cement: ready-mixed concrete, in-situ concrete, precast concrete (slabs, kerbs, architectural elements, etc.).
The use of PIERI® Antibubble L50 with CEM V and CEM III/C cements must be subject to prior testing, as moiré effects may appear in some cases.
Not recommended for concretes in contact with elastomeric moulds (PU-based). (In this case, the use of PIERI® Antibubble L33 is recommended.)
Advantages:
- Forms an abrasion-resistant, grease-repellent film.
- Facilitates rapid stain removal without penetration.
- Enhances concrete colours.
- Inhibits the growth of mosses and lichens.
- Reduces the risk of efflorescence.
- Excellent resistance to UV rays.
Yield:
Indicative dosage: 2 litres/m³. In some cases, the product may be effective at lower dosages.
