Coloured shotcrete in La Bisbal de Montsant

Pigmented concrete shotcrete in a colour tone matching the mountain soil to improve the integration of the construction work.

In this project carried out in La Bisbal de Montsant, Tarragona, the concrete was pigmented using SC Pigments’ Naranja 230 reference, replacing the traditional grey finish with a tone closer to the natural colours of the area, in order to reduce the visual impact of the infrastructure and achieve an intervention that is more coherent with its surroundings and integrated into the landscape.

The technique used was shotcrete, widely used to stabilise terrain, protect against erosion and prevent rockfalls.
